MyQI is a community of researchers from universities in Malaysia and consists of:
Principal Investigators are experts with experience in quantum information. They are individuals with existing publications on quantum information in a journal with impact factor.
Members are researchers that has some experience in quantum information and is still building up their career and would like to be under in group. These members are part of the Principle Investigator group.
Associate members who are honorable members that have previously contributed to the field locally, as well as associate members from the field of quantum humanities. This position is by invitation only.
We are also open to researchers, whose expertise are in the field of:
Quantum Metrology & Sensing
Quantum Biology
If you have expertise in these fields, working with a university in Malaysia, we would like to welcome you to join our community. Please read below for the terms and conditions.
Membership Requirements
Principal Investigator
The PI is expected to publish one (1) paper on quantum information in an Impact Factor (IF) journal, at least once every 3 years.
The paper must also be related to the thrust area of the individual.
PI will be responsible to coordinate information and grant through MyQI.
Grace Period: If a PI fails to meet the publication requirement, they will be given a two (2) year grace period. After this period, they will be reassigned as normal member and given a one (1) year extension to meet the publication requirement. After this period, their membership will be revoked.
Normal Member
A normal member is expected to publish one (1) paper on quantum information in an IF paper, at least once every 5 years.
The paper must also be related to the thrust area of the individual.
Grace Period: If a normal member fails to meet the publication requirement, they will be given a three (3) year grace period. After this period, their membership will be revoked.
Associate Members
This position is by invitation only and for researchers in the Quantum Humanities study
Remarks
A single paper can be shared by multiple individuals.
